1st Day of School

Hannah started 2nd grade today!!! So exciting, she was ready to get back into the school groove and doesn't she just look adorable!! I had to take advantage of the, "mom will you fix my hair" she normally likes it straight and down... Such a little doll!

Our big PreSchooler, the little dream cake!! He wasn't quite as happy to be getting back into the school grove. He is missing our Ms. Staci and Parker... He enjoyed himself while he was there!! Super fun!! I can't believe this time next year he will be going to kindergarten...sniffle.

Lake Roosevelt

Spent the weekend at Lake Roosevelt with my bestie and her whole fam!!! So nice of them to include us!! We had a great time! Kids played from sun up to sun down they were in heaven...

A Basket, A Slip N Slide and the Fort

Ethan and Hudson have been entertaining themselves quite well with sissy being out of town. They pull each other around the house in a laundry basket. Daddy and Ethan enjoyed an afternoon on the slip n slide. Ethan convinced Denny he "needed" a fort! Fort complete and super cool, they painted it!!

Our sweet Hudsie is "1." This has definitely been the fastest year yet... He is an incredible little boy! He loves Hannah and Ethan so much, my heart melts watching them all play together. They can make him belly laugh across the room. He weighs 24 lbs. and is in the 95% for his height! Grammy Pat calls him "Big Hunk" so fitting. He sleeps great and eats like a linebacker! He says, momma, dada, nana (Hannah), up, out, hhhhoooottttt and signs more. Such a smart little guy! He would live outside if we let him, he stands at the back door and points at the backyard. He will be in heaven when the weather cools down a bit. He LOVES swimming and could live on popsicles. We are so blessed with this amazing little boy who completed out perfect little family of 5.

Hannah's Solo Adventure

Our sweet little-big "7" year old flew on a plane to visit her Grammy and Grandpa from Virginia!! Mommy cried all day, literally until she landed safe and sound... I changed my mind about her going, like everyday. I was feeling so very selfish, but she is SO excited to go. I spent every summer with my Grandma and Papa. I have the most amazing memories from those summers and have always had an incredible relationship with them as well. She gets to start making her lifelong memories and strengthening the already great relationship she has with her Grammy. She is amazing so independent and strong, way beyond her 7 years. I will be missing you soooo much for the next 11 days. We love you sweet girl, to the moon and back until the sun turns black...

At the beach this past week Hudson found this little surf board chair!! He loved it and played with it all week!! Ethan decided he wanted a turn, Hudson was not happy about it!!

A Trip to the Beach!!

We just returned home from Encinitas!! Our dear friends were so kind and generous to let us stay in their beautiful beach house for the week!! THANK YOU!! We had the best time; celebrated Daddy's Birthday, spent a day in Temecula, picked fresh strawberries, dug in the sand, played in the ocean and rode every ride at Legoland, some twice!! Our Grammy's and Poppy joined us too, how lucky are we!?!

We could not keep Hudson out of the ocean!! He absolutely LOVED, he was literally running into it!! He is no longer crawling, which was really nice at the beach!!
