Captain America

We were invited to a Mardi Gras party over the weekend!! Denny decided he really wanted to go as Captain America! Found his costume and they had a Mrs. Captain America ~ how fun we could match!! Had a great time!! Captain America was definitely a HIT!!

Our Beautiful Girl Celebrates Her 7th Birthday!!

Really, we have a 7 year old...how old does that make me?

Well almost 7 year old since her real birthday isn't until the 23rd!! You all know how I love birthdays and it only seems fitting that we celebrate twice! She did tell me SOOOO many times that day that she could do this or that or have this or that because it was HER BIRTHDAY!! Finally I heard Denny say, "it's not your birthday yet Hannah." Gotta love that girl, always working an angle :)

Anyhow, we celebrated with a Dance Party ~ so fun! All the girls really seemed to enjoy themselves!!

Nascar Weekend with Papa!

Had a great time watching NASCAR this past weekend at PIR with Pops!! Love his visits, and look forward to them all year!!

He was here for a week, we enjoyed the race and made it out for a little bingo too. Kids totally enjoyed having him around and we are definitely missing him today!!

Ethan was our entertainment in the trailer over the weekend!!! Wanted to share his awesome dance moves!!!

Hudsie Pie has a Tooth and a half!!

Our little sweetie has gotten his first tooth!! It showed up last Friday 2/25/11! The one next to it is on its way out and will probably make its' debut by the weekend!

He wasn't sleeping through the night and now with sore gums I hear from him about every 2 1/2 hours... All you Mom's of little ones, enjoy your sleep!! 8 months of no sleep, I am beginning to think co-sleeping is genius! Or I may move to the basement for awhile :)

A piece of advice ~ get them to sleep through the night long before 8 months, they are louder and more persistent. They stand up in the crib and hang on for dear life, when you go to them its about the saddest thing ever. You pick them up and they couldn't be more relieved. I am sure he is thinking to himself, she is such a sucker and I always win!!! Unfortunately, I can not resist that little ball of love!!!

He will be 8 months old tomorrow! He weighs 20lbs 8ozs. He is crawling everywhere, pulling himself up on anything, waving and clapping! He is just the best little boy if only he'd sleep!!

Happy Valentines

This year we decided to change up Valentines a little and make it about our whole family. We started the evening off with everyone's favorite dinner! Denny and I enjoyed a wonderful steak, Hannah dished up her favorite pad thai, Ethan devoured his mozzarella and balsamic, as for Hudson he had a bottle!! The kids drank their lemonade out of wine glasses and they thought that was so cool!!! We finished up with a delicious dessert, chocolate fondue with strawberries, bananas, pretzels and marshmallows.

Then we exchanged our handmade valentines; so precious. Brought tears to my eyes to look around the table and think how totally and completely in love I am with these 4 amazing people.

Off to the scavenger hunt; the kids had to follow clues to find their Valentines' presents. This was their MOST favorite part of the night they LOVED the scavenger hunt!!! They finally got the pillow pets they have been asking for before Christmas. The scavenger hunt will have to stick around it was super fun!! This was by far the best Valentines EVER!!! It will definitely be our new tradition!!

A crafting afternoon for all the little sweeties in the neighborhood! They made Valentines and decorated sugar cookies! All the girls seemed to enjoy themselves ~ we'll definitely add this to our new Valentines' traditions too!!

The BMX Rider

Ethan made his riding debut at the Chandler BMX park last week!!! We could not be more proud of our big "little" 3 year riding the track with all those big kids! He is awesome!!! He absolutely loved it and rode every chance he had in the 2 hour open ride time. I will add some video next time!!

Hudson is Crawling!

I can't believe that Hudson is 7 months and crawling! He actually started on the 29th 6 days crawling as a 6 month old!! If his balance and coordination are a reflection of this he may be riding his bike at 18 months :) He will have to, to keep up with his brother and sister!! He loves the mobility of crawling, especially that he can come and get me in the kitchen! He is doing great! Still not sleeping through the night but only waking up once, which I am very grateful for. He is eating lots of different foods and loves any vegetable as long as I add a little fruit to it, sweet tooth like his momma! He started clapping this week, super cute. He is an incredible little boy and we just love him to pieces!!
